LAW SOCIETY REFERRAL SERVICE
The Law Society Referral Service is an online service that gives you the name of a lawyer in your area who can give you a free consultation for up to 30 minutes. You can ask for a lawyer who speaks your language, or a lawyer who accepts Legal Aid certificates. You can also call them on a crisis line if you are unable to use the online service,for example if you are in custody, in
a shelter, or in a remote community without access to the internet. This line is available from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This organization provides free legal representation in family and immigration law, as well as counselling and language interpreter services for women who experience physical, sexual, or psychological abuse. The Women’s Institute for Financial Education (WIFE.org) is the oldest non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial education to women in their quest for financial independence. They have educational programs for divorcing women to help you gain financial independence.

WOMEN’S INSTITUTE FOR A SECURE RETIREMENT
Women’s Institute for a Secure Retirement (WISER), a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing long-term financial welfare for women, with a focus on retirement security. The group developed the National Resource Center on Women and Retirement Planning, which has a collection of free resources for basic financial planning. FLOW is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to helping women and girls achieve their financial best in an increasingly complex economic environment. FLOW's mission is to empower women and girls with the knowledge and skills necessary to make sound and responsible decisions about spending, saving, borrowing, and investing for a promising future of economic well-being.
